A. Our techicnician is a fully qualified automotive and heavy diesel mechanic with NZQA level 4 qualifications. Derek has over 20 years experience in the industry with many years managing local workshops and fleets in the Whangaparaoa, Rodney, and North Shore area.

What area do you service?

A. Coast Mechanical are your local mobile mechanic servicing Whangaparaoa, Orewa, Silverdale, Gulf Harbour, Dairy Flat and the greater Hibiscus Coast, Rodney and North Auckland area.

Do you charge a breakdown call out fee?

A. No Coast Mechanical does not currently charge extra for breakdown call outs on weekdays or weekends.

What makes of vehicles do you repair and service?

A. This list includes but is not limited to - Audi, BMW, Mitsubishi, Mazda, Hyundai, Skoda, Ford, Holden, Kia, Nissan, Subaru - We service and repair any make or model car, 4x4 or van.

Do you service and repair all heavy diesel transport, machinery and equipment?

A. Yes our technician is a highly experienced heavy diesel mechanic. We service and repair all machinery including Cat, Kubota, Hitachi, kobelco etc.

Can Coast Mechanical do all repairs and services?

A. Yes! We can carry out all repairs including but not limited to - routine car servicing, routine machinery and truck servicing, brakes, cambelt, camchain, timing belt, engine replacement, gearbox and transmission replacement, hubs, rotors, bushes, computer diagnostics, pre-purchase inspections etc. We also have access to a workshop and hoist if work is needed to be done off-site.
