2. Booking and Appointments
Bookings can be made online, via phone, or through email.
Same day service may be available depending on technician availability.
24-hour emergency service is prioritised for urgent breakdowns or roadside assistance needs.
All service times are estimates and may vary based on location, traffic, and mechanical complexity.
3. Pricing and Payments
All prices quoted are in NZD and include GST unless stated otherwise.
Diagnostic and call-out fees may apply for mobile mechanic visits.
A full quote will be provided before any major work begins.
Payment is due upon completion of work, unless otherwise agreed.
We accept paywave, credit cards, and bank transfers.
4. Cancellations and No-Shows
Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours in advance.
Missed appointments or late cancellations may incur a call-out fee.
For emergency breakdowns, we reserve the right to charge a higher rate after hours or in remote locations.
5. Warranty and Workmanship
All work completed by Coast Mechanical is backed by a 12-month workmanship warranty unless otherwise stated.
Manufacturer warranties on parts apply where relevant.
Coast Mechanical will not be held liable for damage caused by previously existing mechanical issues or customer misuse.
6. Liability
Coast Mechanical will take all reasonable care when performing services, but is not liable for delays or damages caused by factors beyond our control, including weather, traffic, or supplier delays.
We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings left in vehicles.
